27/1/2007 - SS bow and corner guards / RVS boegstuk en hoekbeschermers

De RVS hoekstukken en het boegstuk zijn nu volledig afgelast en zijn voor de laatste maal gepast.
Dit omdat er tijdens het lasproces nog de nodige vervorming kan optreden. Gelukkig is de pasvorm nog goed en waren enkele
klappen met de rubberhamer voldoende. Nu worden ze weer terugegebracht naar De Haas RVS te Oudega. Zij zullen 'n dan volledig
slijpen en polijsten zodat er een ware hoogglans ontstaat.

The SS steel corner and bow guards are now fully welded and had there last trial fitting.
This was neccesary to make sure that no unwanted deformation took place during welding. Luckily the shape was still good.
Nothing that a few smacks with a rubber hamer couldn't solve.
Now the items will be returned to the workshop for final grinding and polishing. They will make sute it result in a high gloss finish.
